We wouldn’t recommend it. Pop up stands are primarily designed for indoor use. While they can sometimes be used outdoors in calm weather, wind and moisture will affect their stability. For outdoor events, we can recommend more robust alternatives.

The exact weight depends on the size and type of stand you choose. Although sturdy, they are still light enough for one person to transport using the supplied wheeled case.
