Carbon Balanced Paper is a simple way for organisations to reduce the carbon impacts of their printed communications, reducing their carbon footprint and impacts on climate change. Carbon Balancing is where the carbon impacts of a product or service have been estimated and an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide is either prevented from being released into, or is absorbed from, the atmosphere. The use of Kraft paper and board has increased over recent years as the trend towards more natural looking materials continues. Perfect for stylish wedding invitations and creative print projects, the production of Kraft paper doesn’t involve the use of bleach to whiten the sheet which is a big environmental benefit. Kraft paper provides a natural looking aesthetic which can compliment the message you are trying to portray.

Typically banners are used for short term use, often to promote an event, or to attract passing traffic. Once the event is over they tend to be simply thrown away as there isn’t an easy or economic way to recycle this material. Historically banners are made from PVC and yet environmentally PVC is falling out of favour as businesses try to find more sustainable products to use.
In recent years significant progress has been made to develop PVC-free options and we can offer both PVC-free banners and mesh banners, as well as PVC-free roller banners.
