A laminated business card is only as good as what’s underneath the coating. We print onto professional-grade card stocks, with lamination applied to lock in colour and protect the surface from scuffs, moisture and everyday wear.
Print and material specs:
Our laminated cards suit a wide range of uses – from corporate professionals and sales teams wanting a polished first impression, to creative freelancers and small business owners who want their card to reflect the quality of their work.

We can also apply lamination to one side only, leaving the reverse uncoated if you want a writable surface – handy for appointment cards or where you need to add notes by hand.
Spot UV, foiling, and die-cutting are available as premium upgrades – ask our team for details.

Talk to our design teamGloss lamination gives your cards a bright, shiny surface that makes colours pop – it’s a popular choice for photography, bold branding, and designs with a lot of colour. Matt lamination has a smooth, low-sheen finish that’s easier to read in bright light and suits minimal or dark-background designs. Soft-touch (sometimes called velvet) lamination sits somewhere in between – it has a silky, premium feel that’s particularly popular with luxury brands and creative professionals. If you’re unsure which is right for your design, Kall Kwik Harrogate are happy to advise.
Our laminated cards are typically printed on 400 gsm card stock as standard, and the laminate coating adds a small amount of additional thickness and rigidity. The result is a noticeably solid, high-quality card that feels more substantial than standard uncoated cards.
Yes. Single-sided lamination is a popular option – typically applied to the front of the card, leaving the reverse uncoated so you can write on it. This works well for appointment cards, referral cards, and any situation where the recipient might want to make a note.
We can deliver many orders on tight timescales, depending on your requirements. Contact our team to discuss your artwork, quantity and deadline, and we’ll advise on the best option.
This depends on the finish. Gloss and soft-touch laminated cards can be difficult to write on with standard pens, whereas matt lamination may be more suitable if you need to add notes. However, testing is always recommended.
